MileStones - The CureSearch Walk for Childhood Cancer is a pledge walk that unites people in the fight to reach the day when every child with cancer can be guaranteed a cure. Its goals are to increase awareness of childhood cancer and to raise the revenue needed to support the life saving research conducted by the Children's Oncology Group.
Walk in tribute to all who have been touched by childhood cancer: your child, family member, neighbor, friend, coworker or classmate. Walk to help conquer the #1 disease killer of children.
CureSearch represents every pediatric cancer research organization in North America, providing care to over 90% of children with cancer.
Every day, our network of doctors, nurses and scientists are making great strides in pioneering new treatments to increase survival rates. Milestones - The CureSearch Walk for Childhood Cancer is not a race; but a personal journey. Throughout the course, you will pass special MileStone Markers featuring childhood cancer facts and honoring local children with cancer. It’s a path of inspiration and reflection that one day we will reach the day when every child with cancer is guaranteed a cure.
